Monday Eye Candy

26 Sep

Mondays are hard. The weekend’s over, I’m tired, and there’s no hope of a fancy brunch or lingering over coffee for at least another four days. Thusly, I am inspired to introduce a new series: Monday Eye Candy. A better name may be in the works but this will have to do for now (see above, Mondays are hard).

Many of us got to our place in the library world via our love of books. And, if I said I never judge a book by its cover, I’d be lying. So for today, we’re going to drool over this series of poetry books published by Faber & Faber, with covers inspired by patterns by Josiah Wedgewood (spotted on design*sponge). My favorite is the Blake, but judge for yourself. The full collection can be found here.

Extra special bonus: design*sponge is running a contest to win a set for your very own. Come here, my pretties.
